  1. I'm due to have my lap band surgery on October 18th - 7 days from today! So you think you are nervous??? I'm so afraid of pain...
  2. Hi, my name is Rachel and I'm on the road to Lap Band Surgery and a new beginning. My surgery is scheduled for October 18th. I had a rough weekend. Doctor put me on liquid diet on Tuesday because I gained 2 pounds. I did okay the first day on the Bariatric shake, but on the second day, I started throwing up every time I had even water! Well, I figured out the back pain meds I take are too strong and this caused the vomiting. So now I spread out my meds in between the shake meals. Good thing was that I had lost some weight with not being able to hold down any food. Today was a better day. Lap Band Surgery is scary for me, though, because I worry about complications, pain, loose skin....all that fine stuff. But my health is my priority and I want to believe that I made a good decision.
