  1. Hello fellow sleevers, Today I am 6 months out and down 80 lbs....yay me!!! What I'm starting to hear from people besides how much I'm shrinking is...stand up straight. The past month is seems my posture has gone from good to bad. I am now slouching all/most of the time and I don't even realize it until someone points it out to me. I do notice that sometimes my upper back aches and I know its because of the slouching. Is this common? Have any of you experience this? Is this related to the weightloss? Does anyone know? Thanks for you input. Lola
  2. Congrats!! It is a onderful feeling getting to onderland. I arrived yesterday and my surgery was on 10/17/11.
  3. Thank you everyone for the great words of encouragement and support....love this site, it's nice knowing you all know what I am going through.
  4. Hello all fellow sleevers, I am so excited because I just weighed myself and I am finally in onderland. It took me 4 1/2 months to get here.....I don't know when was the last time I was here but I do know I don't plan on leaving it. My weight before surgery was 269, and my current weight is 197.5. I am down 71.5 pounds and I feel awesome.
  5. Hello all, I am 4 months out since my sleeve and I feel great. Loving the new ME! But something this has changed, I just started to notice my back has been hurting a lot. Anyone else start to experience back pain? Is this normal? Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks.
  6. Hello. At 1 month out I was down 32 lbs. Although everyone around me noticed the difference right away, I really didn't see it. For me the REAL difference is now that I am 3 months out and 57 lbs lighter. Congrats on your success!
  7. Wow, congrats on the size 8! I can't wait to get to a smaller size.
  8. Hello, just wanted to share my recent success. Yesterday was my 3 month anniversary and total weight loss is 57.4 lbs!!! YAY!!! I am so excited. I don't know about the rest of you but I am counting my weight loss from what I weighed before the pre-op diet. If I count from date of surgery (10/17/11) I am down 48.4 lbs. Last week I experience my first weight gain of 1.3 lbs and I was a little upset....but between last week and this week/yesterday, I was down 4.9 lbs. Someone told me it is just my body adjusting itself, which does make sense. I am doing fantastic, tons of energy and working out. Is there anyone else 3 months out? How are you doing? Any Chicago sleevers?
  9. My sleeve surgery was on 10/17/11. At home feeling better each day....the only problem is I haven't had a bowel movement yet and the my belly is so bloated that it irritates my incisions. How long did it take before you had a movement post-op???
