  1. I was banded on Monday, Oct 3rd! Yay! No problems with surgery! Yay! Haven't taken pain meds since Tuesday, the 4th! Yay! Ok, the issue is all this bloating with gas. It makes it hard for me to take in my liquids because it just makes me more miserable than I already am. I don't get anywhere near the required amount of fluids because I'm miserable. Yesterday, with permission from my doc, I started with GasX and Milk of Magnesia-finally-RELIEF!!!! However, here I am again bloated and miserable. It doesn't matter how much I rub my stomach (in an effort to get the gas to go down-if you know what I mean) or how much I walk-no relief. What gives?? Is this how things are gonna be?? Is there any real relief w/o the assistance of meds in my near future? I'm going back to work next week, I don't want to walk around looking 10 months pregnant! Any suggestions would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!
