    Body Aches & Pains

Thank you all for posting this!! I thought I was going nuts. I am cold most of the time and have aches and pains not constantly but they will be there one day and gone the next I am one month out of surgery. thanks again it is very helpful to know I am not the only one
  2. I had the gastic sleve as a last resort, I had the lap band and it worked wonderful. My lap band slipped and my Dr said my stomach was to weak to place another band so he did the gastric sleeve. now on my right side, When I exercised yesterday for the first time since my surgery 1/4/2012 there was a pain i think it matches up where my port used to be. it is dull not bad enough to take pain meds but still a dull pain. I wonder if anyone ever had this happen to them . I feel very good otherwise. Maybe I am being a bit of a worry wort. Any opinions or sugestions would be helpful.

Yeh! The Lapband Is Coming Out....

i had my band removed on Jan 6th due to it slipping. I was going to go with another band but the surgon said it would not work cuz it weakened my stomach wall. All of your storys of band removal suprized me I never realized that how many people had problems with their band. Here is to a happy future with our Sleeve !!!
  5. I had my band placed in october of 2010 then in the last week of December of 2011 my band slipped I did have good sucess with the band. The following week my doctor scheduled me for surgery. which was this past Wednesday 1-6-12. He removed the band and and he said it was the "worse case" senerio and I had to be converted to a gastric sleeve. I am still reeling in my mind over this decision. To hear that others have gone thur this and have come out ok. Makes me feel alot better. Thanks for sharing and allowing me to share with all of you.
