  1. I totally understand and am right there with you. I lost 54 lbs initially but gained 15 back. I have an appointment with my very stern surgeon tomorrow afternoon and not very much looking forward to it. I haven't seen him in over two years. It took a lot for me to make the call but I'm glad I did. I need to go back to the basics. I still have restriction but I struggle with several things. I have never been good at not drinking while eating and I never get enough exercise. I'm anxious and nervous about my appointment tomorrow but I am taking my husband with me so that I will have him to be accountable to. Good luck to you!
  2. Hi all ~ I had lapband surgery in October 2008. I lost 54 lbs after surgery and all while my husband was deployed in the desert. After he came back my weight loss stalled. It has been about two years since I have seen my doctor (horrible, I know). I have gained back about 15 pounds in those two years and I never got to my goal initially. Its time for me to get back on track, start following the rules and guidelines. I do still have restriction but I tend to take a drink to wash it down and keep eating. From day one I have struggled with not drinking during a meal. It sounds easy enough but its tough for me. That is one rule I need to start implementing for sure. I'm sure that alone would really help. I have started the process of getting a new referral to see my surgeon. It took a long time for me to make that step and I am so proud of myself for making the phone call. Its time to get back to using this tool again. Positive support always welcome
