Hi!!! So glad to hear that you're doing well. I went online and did some research, then I found this site and saw that a lot of people have gone to mexico for the surgery. My insurance doesn't cover bariatric surgeries, so I thought I should go to Mexico after 4yrs of thorough research. I'm going to follow up here with my primary care physician.

I was one to second guess myself! Im 3 days post op, and I was watching tv, started laughing at NIKKI PARKER and all of the sudden the tears started rolling down my face, and I couldnt stop sobbing, asking myself WHAT HAVE I DONE?? But it went away now, it was just a moment. Itll be the best thing we did for ourselves!

I was also banded on sept 22, and the gas pain is very uncomfortable!!! Thank God its the only pain ive felt!! I have the urge to burp, but nothing comes out! Frustrating, but I don't regret it a bit! Asking God for patience and to keep me from any harms! Oh, and the constipation.... Ive tried milk of magnesia and benefiber for 2 days, so far, nothing! Help, anyone?!?!

Congrats, everyone! I just got banded today! Feeling very accomplished! Thank GOD!!! I'll be 21 next month, best birthday gift I couldve given myself! I still have many many questions! I'm also scared of excess skin...But the dr said that Im still young, so it shouldnt be a problem, as long as I exercise and follow the diet... Well, GOOD LUCK to all of us!
