I went from a size 30/32 down to a 14/16 short and an 18 pants.... So excited! Just wanted to drop in and show some pics.

    6 Months Out/with Pics

Thanks everyone!!! I looked at my post and noticed swype was not my friend last night! LOL... I did not proofread before I sent it but I will with this one! So many typos. @carbgrl the funny thing is I actually started out doing Richard Simmons everyday with my belly bands on. I moved very exaggerated while doing it for a more intense workout. The weight seemed to be melting off. After I noticed a weight slow down I added climbing Stone Mountain to my regimen. That is a park where there is mountain climbing. This helped with leg and butt toning as well as good cardio. As far as food is concerned I was very strict in the beginning doing the liquid to purees and then gradually added foods as told. Carbs are not my friend so I ”try” to stay away from them. But I do a lot of seafood and veggies. Some fruit because of the sugar, but I do have some when I want it. I have tried most things but I admit they are not as appeasing as before surgery and I am so happy! @HopeThruFaith yes I have excess skin problems with my arms mostly. A little on my thighs but I think extreme training will help that. And of course my stomach but I think my 2 kids helped with that... Lol. I hope that I answered all questions. Thanks again for the support everyone!:-D

  5. Hello everyone I just want to stop in and give an update of my progress. Well as you see in my topic I have lost 116 pounds so far. This has been an amazing journey this far. There have been some challenging times but I am greatful for them all because they teach me as I have been going through this journey. I have went from a size 30/32 I am currently in a size 22 and they are baggy!!! :-) I hope you can feel the excitement I feel. I am no longer on water pills. I cannot sleep with my sleep apnea machine because the pressure is to strong and it dries me out. My knees don't hurt anymore. I have enery to workout and play with my kids. I work with the public, and ALL of my customers notice it. Some of my vendors walk in and have not seen me in months and they don't realize it is me until i speak to them!! This has been an exciting time in my life... I am so greatful to God for this blessing that he has given me! :-) So as you see I have several NSV's but those are the ones I remember as I am typing. I want badly to upload pictures but I don't know how. Don't judge me... LOL LOL. SO if someone could tell me how and I will upload some progress pictures forn you guys to see. I am sooooooooooooooooooo (overboard with the o's) excited and overjoyed about my results this far. By the way my surgery date was August 25, 2011.
  6. Congratulations!!!! That is so awesome. You sound so happy and exited. :-)
  7. Hello everyone, My name is Rhonda and I have been watching this forum since the day after surgery. I have major support from my family but I need support from people who have been through EXACTLY what I have been through. I must admit I was a little hesitant to post on the forum. For one because I did not want to put my numbers on here. But then I thought I will never be that way again so I am posting out of excitement to get to know you guys better and for your support on my journey. I will say that I feel like I already know some of you guys because you always update us on what is going on and to give good advice on different situations. I read this post several times a day and smile, get teary eyed, and laugh at some of the things posted. But most of all very excited and proud of the results that everyone is producing. A little about me I am married with 2 young boys. I am from Atlanta born and raised. I have struggled my whole life with being overweight. I don't know what skinny feels like and I have never met "GOAL" on any weight loss program but for the first time I feel that this is attainable. Now to the numbers my highest weight was 397 lbs. I had my surgery on 8/26/2011. On Thursday I will be 3 weeks out. As of this morning I weighed and I am down 44 lbs. My current weight is 353 lbs. I look forward to chatting with you on this wonderful journey.
