  1. I was banded 3-7-2012. For about 1 month my food intake was MAYBE 1/2 of what it was. NOW, I am almost able to eat what I was before surgery! YUCK ~~ I am scheduled for the first fill May 26th. Will my food consumption diminish after I start getting fills? Thank you guys so much for the wisdom
  2. If (wishful thing) a person is very successful in getting very lean (hoping one day to see my 6 pack.. I know it's there, just hidden..lol) will the fill port be grossly visible? Just curious, I get banded next week.. If so, I can live with it since the fat will be gone, but I would like to go shirtless every now and then if successful. Thanks so much for the wisdom. :0
  3. I have Cigna and in the 6th and final month of my supervised diet. Had the sleep study, psyche eval all done.. Question is.. During this supervised diet, I really haven't lost any weight.. in fact may have gained a few after holidays.. You think I will get "shot down" for the surgery? Thanks..
  4. I have Cigna. I am in month 5 of the 6 month counseling. Had the Psyche test, sleep test (mild sleep apnea), 40 BMI, 1 co-morbid.. January is the final counseling session... Anyone have any insight on how long after that until surgery? (kinda strange, I've yet to be able to see the doctor..) Any wisdom on the timeline?
