Hi Glowormvl, I wish you the very best in your journey. It would be so nice if staff members were a little more sympathetic to our causes, but to most, it's just a job. Keep your head up and I know you can make it through this. I really hope this is the very best decision that I am making. I still get anxious wondering how adjusting to life without the occasional Burger or pizza will be, but I know it is right to do this. Hi Violet, I too am scheduled for surgery (Banded Plication) on Sept. 6th. Definitely looking forward to it, but with a bit of anxiety too. I was at 290 before the Pre-op diet started last Wednesday. Have lost 10 pounds with it. I know I still need the surgery though, otherwise I would just balloon up again. I am also a self pay customer. If you dont mind, what was you cost? I have my Banded Plication surgery on Sept. 6th. Started my Pre-op diet last night. Soup...Really looking forward to a new healthier body and Life!
