I-Can-Do-This!!

I had my surgery on the 16th of Nov and i am going through the same pain. it hurts sooooo bad. Its to the point that it was affecting my breathing also. Ive been taking chewable gas-x and drinking hot liquids n soups n walking n it helps but not nearly enough. THis is normal. I also have been using a blender to mix my protein shakes n i have to stop using the blender bc it was causing bubbles which makes for a gassy person so i had to get this hand mixed that has a wisk type ball in it n just manually shake it. Things we took for graunted we really need to take a step back and see if it could be causing gas. Good luck!!!

I was informed i was suppost to get my surgery yesterday the 26th of oct, so i started my liquids on the 19th all went well lost 6lbs. When i called my drs office on the 24th to see where we stand and if we are a go for the surgery on the 26th she told me that she hasnt heard anything yet from my ins. co. So i took it apon myself and called my ins co and asked if they rec my paper work n to see whats going on n they said they just rec my paper work on the 21st of this month n it can take 10 to 15 business days to see if i am approved. also, the reason they rec my paper work so late was bc the ins co internal fax wasnt working so this was apperently going on since the end of sept beginng f oct. Also im back on solids, bc i couldntdo the liquids knwg i didnt have to so that only lasted 2 extra days.I realllllly want to get ths surgery, bc when i lost only the 6lbs from doin the liquids i started to feel great. But im becomming very impatient!!!!

I started liquids yesterday, its alot harder than i thought. But it has to be done. Good luck to you!!

Hello All Im getting banded October 25th!!!! Im super excited and super scared all at the same time. I need to do this. I think my biggest issue it not being able to drink and eat at the same time and not being able to drink an entire bottle of water in 5 seconds. But if thats the worst thing then i think i ca over come it. If and any pointers please pass me way. Good luck and Congratulations to all

Congratulations!!!! Thats wonderful. I have not got banded yet, my scheduled surgery is Oct 25th so its right around the corner (well at least thats what im telling myself ) We have 1 child which we had concieved through IVF so in hoping that once i get the band and lose weight that my husband and I are able to concieve on our own this time. Congratulations again thats wonerful news!!!!
