Which one my reg dr or my lapband one?

Hello banders I am very new (banded aug 19th this year) and tonight when I was getting ready for a shower i realized I have a lump/bump near my belly button. I would say golf ball size.. Never had it before... I'm stressing out!! Could it be a hernia?!? Anyone have any with the band? Just scared cause I have been following everything to the T... Any advice would be good. Thanks!!

I don't have any advice but my step mon is gong through the same thing, she gained 80 pounds, she was looking into doing the band but someone told her to talk to her doctor about a revision? Idk.. Sorry not helpful

Does it feel like someone is sitting on ur chest? Doctor told me is was due to drinking fast and/or I was full.. I got banded aug 19th 2011

Wow I was on clear liquids 2 days after surgery then a week of full liquids n I start purée foods next week then reg foods...I would follow what doctor orders cause looks like everyone had something different

I'm hungry lol I'm on my full liquid diet was doing great till I had to cook dinner tonight sigh so I'm gonna have to fight it lmao but other then that I'm happy I made this decision, lost 3 pounds since friday.

Its so worth it in the long run i just got banded friday (aug 19th) pain was very minimal and as far as the gas I walked around good luck we r all here for you

I'm a newbie like the title says. Tomorrow is my lap band procedure and I'm so excited but at the same time nervous. My doctor has me on a clear liquid diet today and I'm about to eat my arm off!! Just to think i won't b able to eat food till about 2-3 weeks from now lol. Anyways the ones that had it done already how did you feel after surgery? Were u hungry?
