  1. Hi Judy145! I am so excited after reading what you wrote about your blood sugars going down. I hopefully will be having lap band surgery the last of Jan. 08 an I too am 60 years old and a diabetic. I want to get off of some of the many meds and start living a healthier life for the years I have left. My kids are grown also ages 33 and 29...
  2. Hi everyone! I'm new here...I will be getting my band the last of January. Right now going to the psych. and nutritionist. I'm five feet tall and weigh 214. I am 60 years old. I have some fears but I'm at the point that this is my only chance to lose the weight and have a normal life. I also have type 2 diabetes. You can't imagine how much all of you are helping me with your comments and etc. Love this web!!!! LBelle
  3. Thanks Georgia Girl! I know all of you are going to help me get through this...I'm hoping to have the surgery by the first of Dec. LBelle
  4. Hi! I've been on this site for quite awhile but never really introduced myself. I'm just a few weeks from getting a lapband in Topeka, Ks. My doctor is Dr. Hamilton and I will be at St. Frances Hospital. He lets his patients go home the same day. I'm scared and excited at the same time. I am sixty years old and diabetic. I am short and weigh 214. I want to get to 140. Could someone tell me if there is a web with people my age.? I would like to talk with them since I am older than all of you. You have been a GREAT help for me......Thanks.....LBelle:)
