  1. I've done strength training in my arms 3 times a week for the past 9 months and unfortunately I still have really bad bat wings. I've changed up the exercises I use to "tone", used info from my doc, but still is an area I need to work on. Has an arm lift ever been covered by insurance?
  2. 158.8 this morning! Thanks for doing this!
  3. Sorry I'm late. 160.2.
  4. 159.4 today. Thanks!
  5. I love Quest Bars! Just like TEXASLADY52, I eat about half of it as a snack. I really enjoy the mint, cookie dough (warmed up - yummy!) and the double chocolate chunk. I tried some of the others and they were ok, just not my favorite. I really like these bars because of the fiber.
  6. After a three week stall the scale finally moved. 166.4 today. Thanks!
  7. I just got done with a three week stall so I understand your frustration. Keep eating right and exercising and the weight will come off. I also increased my calories by a hundred and that seemed to help
  8. Please count me in....same weight as last week. 169.8. Thanks! Goal weight....163
  9. Congrats! Prayers are sent your way.
  10. Final weight 169.8
  11. I went through a similar experience with my band. I was banded in 2011, lost restriction in 2013 and found our the catheter broke, I had pain in my lower abdomen, went to the ER for them to say it was a UTI. I went to my regular doc who said nothing was wrong. Finally, I went to my bariatric doc and found it was disconnected through the CT scan. I went for a revision surgery. In 2015, I lost restriction and they had a hard time filling and unfilling me, so my surgeon suggested the sleeve. So far, this has been the BEST decision! I've lost so much more weight than with the band and I feel "normal" with the sleeve. Good luck with what you choose!
  12. I was sleeved in February and my husband is scheduled for 2 weeks. He is really excited and I am too for him!
  13. Cw 173.8....broke my stall....wahoo
  14. I had the worst headache first day preop and I was allowed four protein shakes. It gets easier..a lot easier!

  17. I had my surgery February 11,2015 and am very thankful for this tool.
  18. I have lost a lot more weight with the sleeve than I ever did with my band. I was hesitant to convert, but as my surgeon said, "you will get more bang for your buck." She was correct.
  19. I have no regrets! I am down over 50 pounds in less than four months. My husband is looking forward to having his surgery soon. Good luck!
