  2. Thanks!Yesterday, I tried the boxed mashed sweet potato's by Betty Crocker. It went down very smooth and they were pretty. I would prefer the fresh one, however, I was being lazy and used the boxed ones. It's worth the try, they were sweeter than I expected, but I thinned them out and used soy milk so it wasn't so bad. Hope this helps.

  16. good afternoon, I am having my surgery on 9/7 - I was put on a pre op diet for 2 weeks starting today. I am doing the Opti Fast 800 calorie diet (liquid). so far it has been ok. (i started it today LOL). My question is: I have been reading and some people did the pre op diet and some other don't. Is this really necessary? why some Doctors required and some other's dont?? Does it make a diference at the moment of surgery having done the diet and or not?? I have a lot of questions. Thanks for your help! Vanessa

  19. Good morning, I am new to this forum. I will have my surgery on 9/7/2011 - I am super excited but nervous at the same time. I have requested time off from work. But My HR department asked me how many days i think I will be out on sick leave. I told them that I dependint on the Doctor's orders, probably it will be between 7 to10 days out. I was planning to go back to work on 9/26. Is this enough time?? i want to make sure I give them the reasonable time, but also, I want to make sure I feel well enough to work.
