September Bandsters
I'm making the transiton to the Sept 2011 Bandsters group in the Post-Op forum. I hope to see some of you there. Good luck to everyone who is being banded in the next couple days. I'll be waiting to hear how it went in the post op forum.

September Bandsters
I belong to a 24 hour gym also. While I"m off work, I'll try to go daily. Once I'm back to work, I'll resume working with my trainer 2x week and going 2-3 more times on my own for cardio.

September Bandsters
Made it to the gym. Got a hug and an "atta girl" from my trainer. He is so encouraging. Walked 0.75 mile at a speed of 2.1. Not very fast but it felt great to get back in the gym. Weighed myself on the more accurate scales and I have lost even more weight than I knew. 1 more lb and I am in the 200's. I haven't been there in over a year. That was the first goal I set for myself. Next goal is 270. Haven't weighed that since 1996.

September Bandsters
I noticed there is already a Sept 11 bandsters group in the Post Op section. Sounds like you are doing great. I'm venturing out to the gym today to try the treadmill. Since I'm off narcotics now I can try a short drive.

Where is your port??
Thanks hdavis72 and Georgia Peach...I feel better now. I was beginning to worry that I was the only one with a port on the left.

Five days after surgery
You might want to call the office and double check. I have to eat 60 grams every day. It is important for your wounds to heal and to not be hungry...and I'm sure the energy level.

Five days after surgery
I'm four days post op and yesterday was a tired day but otherwise, I haven't experienced it. I've only lost 5 lbs. How much Protein are you consuming each day?

Dr. Nease anyone?
I was banded by Dr. Nease 9/21. Procedure went well. Lost 2 lbs in 3 days. Never expected to see any other of his patients here. This is great.

September Bandsters
Don't be discouraged. It will happen. Walk, walk, walk. The gas and fluid will disappear and the new you will begin.

September Bandsters
That was biggest complaint too. I started on the GasX yesterday and this morning it is MUCH better. Hang in there. It will pass (no pun intended).

September Bandsters
I had that feeling right after surgery around my belly button. It is getting better and the ability to feel is returning.

September Bandsters
I had the weight gain. I was frustrated yesterday morning about that...but this morning it is gone plus two more pounds! How many days post op are you?

September Bandsters
I was banded two days ago and I'm wearing my normal clothes. I'm not noticing a pregnant look.
