  1. Most will take a stool softener after surgery to help and if the constipation sets in the doctor will suggest Miralax. Let the doctor's office know you are having this problem ASAP.

    I have the same problem with sugar foods. Like the cakes, cookies, and icecream. Even with the lap band its taken me 5 years after surgery to realize I just cant have them in my house. I have 10 more pounds to go and I believe these foods have always been my down fall. I too am a sugar addict.
  3. I am a patient of Dr. Chappano's since 2006 and he see bariatric patients from other practices. I have lost 85 lbs. with him and they have a great team that works with bariatric patients.
  4. I had the Lap Band done with Dr. Chappano 4 years ago and have lost 75 lbs. and have kept it off. The entire group is great and very tenative. I work at St. Vincents too. If you have any questions I would be happy to help you.
