I was banded on July 21, 2011. I saw my doctor today 8/2/11 for my post surgery appointment and am down 19 lbs (since my last doctors visit). I am feeling great (no more gas!) and the only thing I still feel is a little soreness around my largest incision. I go back in three weeks for my first lap-band fill. I'm a little nervous about that.
The other thing I'm nervous about is the three weeks between now and when I get my first lap-band adjustment. My doctor told me to be careful because basically any type of food can go down. I am just starting the second week of my diet (full liquids).
I would love to meet others who have had lap-band because I have so many questions.
