AM I EATING TOO MUCH??
I am 2 weeks post-op and still eating pureed mushie foods, I suggest you take a step back and concentrate on getting in your protein. If you are still hungry have a protein shake or drink in betwwen meals.I'm surprised you ate chicken nuggets, Usually fried food would make you nauseous. you just want to be good to your new sleeve and your body, remember why you did this and try to eat clean and healthy foods. I'm not judging you, just love yourself don;t disrespect your sleeve. Take it one day at a time and plan your meals or snacks if you will be out. good luck

Thinking of Cancelling my Surgery.. HELP!!!
Hi, I am also having surgery on Tuesday!! I was getting rashes from so much whey protein and I was advised to stop the shakes, eat a high protein diet with very low fat which I have. They said I could have carnation instant Breakfast, some fruit, etc. to keep myself from not feeling too hungry. I really don't think that you will have any problem. Just be honest and let them know you struggled with the pre-op diet. Call them tomorrow so if there is any hesitation on thier part, they will let you know.. I think your just nervous , but you will be fine!!! focus on why you wanted to do the surgery in the first place? To be Thinner, Happier and Healthier and just go for it.

allergic to whey?
Well I'm 3 days away from surgery and this protein shake thing is not working. I have lost 6 lbs. but 1 night I felt like I had the flu. Next day woke up fine but I have a bumpy itchy rash along waist line on back and bumpy elbows. I switched to egg white protein yesterday and felt like a stomach flu last night. So today the nurse said stop the shakes and stick with a high protein, low fat diet for the next 3 days. That seems easy now compared to the shakes. but what am my going to have after surgery. I guess all the whey protein will have to go back. anyone ever hear of this happening, or am I the unlucky one?

Just diagnosed with severe sleep apnea...
I was diagnosed with sleep apnea 4 months ago, stopped breathing 115 times an hour.I used to wake up with headaches and cronic tiredness. In these last few months I feel soooo! much better with my c-pap.I have noticed the mask with the nasal pillows does start to leak around the nostral after a while. I need something over my mouth because I'm a mouth breather also. The insurance co. will replace my mask every 3 months so I'm going to try a full face mask this time.Good luck to you , When you get your machine you'll feel much better.Find out how often your insurance co, replaces your mask and do take advantage of it.

PRE OP DIET :)
I'm sorry you're so hungry. I think it takes a few days to adapt. Be strong and keep reminding yourself why you want this surgery and why you do'nt want you're liver to get damaged.. just keep thinking. I want to be thinner over and over and I can get through this pre-op.And you will. Good luck. I'm starting my pre-op tomorrow.

August Sleevers!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Kayla, I know how you are feeling, my surgery is the 16th of August. I wish you strength when you need it. What kind of pre surgery diet are you on? All liquid? sounds hard. I hope You do well. Mine is a 2 week modified fast, one healthy meal and 3 Protein shakes a day. I don't know why some doctors want all liquids and others don't. Whats up with that?
