  1. Lower body lift, butt lift and breast lift (no implants). Thing are looking great! My stomach is still very tight, so I noticed I was slightly bending forward while jogging yesterday. I am sure it will just take time for everything to heal and stretch back to position again.
  2. WOW, I have a lot to learn. Mmmm, my tiny tummy does not hold much, especially with these compression garments still on. I am really going to have to do some research on how to fuel my body the right way. Thank you Butter so much! And hey, by the way, you are looking great!!!! Happy Healing :-)
  3. I signed up to do a 15K on March 1, 2014. I started my training yesterday by jogging 3 miles. My legs were on fire. My butt hurt the entire time I was jogging because I am still healing from plastic surgery that I had 4 months ago. I was jogging so slow, a old woman with a walker could have passes me. This is a big goal for me! Any advice to keep me motivated will helpful!
  4. I know you are looking awesome!!! Those first days after surgery are so exciting. Enjoy your experience and please keep us updated. Smile :-)
  5. I think it is a wonderful idea!!!
  6. I went to Dr Victor Gutierrez in Tijuana. I had a lower body lift, breast and butt lift. He is great! You can look at his web site or call to get more information about him. My experience was outstanding! My cost did not include air fare. Post op, I stayed 7 days in the recovery clinic with 24 nurse care. http://www.dr-victorgutierrez.com
  7. I am glad you like it. I have been using mine since June. I will be ordering another Gelzone soon. I am surprised it lasted me this long. It had really helped me with my swelling too, especially when I pull it tight and wrap it all the way around. It may take some getting use to for some people, but well worth it when you look at your scar and see how flat an smooth it becomes. As a bonus, it holds my tummy in tighter and makes me eat less. :-)
  8. I am sorry I did not reply sooner. I bought the GELZONE Wrap at www.gelzone.com It is 6X48 inch streach support and is perfect for Tummy Tucks or Lower Body Lifts. I started wearing mine GELZONE Wrap 10 days after my LBL. (I was allergic to the surgical tape) It provides compression and silicone at the same time. I paid $75.00. I tried the small strips, but they did not work for me. With the GELZONE, I was even able to cut it and make it work for my breast lift scars too. I hand wash. Had my LBL 14 weeks ago, and still wear it 24/7. It is very very comfortable.
  9. I use GELZONE. It also works as compression for my lower abdomen and hips to flatten out my scar from my LBL. I can wrap it all the way around and pull it tight and fasten it with the Velcro tabs. My scar I flat and blending in nicely with my skin tone. I highly recommend this product.
  10. Travel is not so bad either. The airlines provide wheelchair assistance. They wheel you to the gate, help you on the plane, put you back in the wheelchair when you arrive at your destination and wheel you the car. Most people think the worst before their surgery, but then realize after the surgery is over with, it really was not so bad. My entire surgery experience was great! No worries!!!! lol When your time comes for PS you will see that everything be fine :-)
  11. I had my lower body lift 12 weeks ago now. The swelling comes and goes for me too. The numbness is still there too. I am taking St Johns Wort because it works to regenerate nerves to grow. It has helped me a lot. Healing takes time, and I still try to take it easy. You will get there, but just give yourself a little more time. Happy Healing!!
  12. Family Medical Leave Act That is a good question to ask, because recovery can be lengthy depending on the surgery and the amount of work being done, not mention if one should suffer complications.
  13. Hello Sweetsusie, I went to Tijuana, Mexico for my plastic surgery. Dr. Victor Gutierrez is a caring, extraordinary, gifted and artistic Board Certified plastic surgeon that worked magic on my body. I am 9 weeks post op and look and feel great!! I did not want to wait and save up the cash money, so I chose to take out a loan. I know I received the best medical care and professional caring service from Dr Victor Gutierrez. After my surgery I had 24/7 nursing care. He really has the best facilities and experienced team that works extremely head to ensure you are cared for before, durning, and after your surgical procedure. Please feel free to give his office a call, and be sure to check out his his web site. To up free consultation toll free 1-866-209-8598. http://www.dr-victorgutierrez.com/
  14. Dr Victor Gutierrez is located in Tijuana, Mexico. To be honest with you, I tried to find a PS near me, but they all seemed more concerned about the wrong things. In my search, I was not even able to speak personally to any doctor. They just would not take the time to call me back. Then I called Dr Victor Gutierrez PS office. I was able to speak to him personally. He was so caring, patient, and reassuring. WOW! I was super impressed and made a trusting connection right away - something that is super important to me. He prices were reasonable and affordable. But considering the care that I received, I would have been willing to pay a whole lot more.
