  1. I had a ton of hair fall out in the weeks following the surgery. But, I found that just taking multivitamins helped a lot. My doc thinks my hair loss came simply from the stress of having the surgery.
  2. I am so glad my Doc didn't require a hospital stay. I was in the surgery center at 6:30 in the morning, in the surgery room at 7:30AM, and back at home in bed at 10:30AM. I had hydrocodone for pain, but I only took it for the first two days. It was basically in and out...I wouldn't change anything about that.
  3. I was banded on the morning of Friday, September 19. I have not had any hunger at all. Today is my first full day without any pain meds and although I am a little sore, I am moving around on my own. I have had to force myself to drink liquids, but I am pretty sure that I am staying hydrated (no dry mouth, using the restroom regularly, etc...). But, I have an overwhelming feeling of being lightheaded. Today, I have had about 6 oz of cream of mushroom Soup and 12 oz of Protein shake in total. I am going to try to get at least another 12 oz of Protein Shake down. Anyone else have this issue during the days following the procedure? Could it be the pain meds working their way out? Not enough liquid? Not enough protein? It's a very odd feeling...almost like my head is floating away from my body.
