  1. I started thrwoing up and I mean HARD. Can it cause a leak?
  2. Hi everyone I was sleeved on March 14. So far things have been pretty good. I've been shopping and went to Walmart to get some walking in. I still can't kick this hunger thing. I know that I can't eat physically but my mind is teling me I'm so hungry. I'm still on my liquids diet and I hope that this will get easier!
  3. I'm going on the second day and still nothing. I hope I don't get it because it sounds pretty horrible. I burped a couple times and that's it. I've also walked the hallways 4 times and down to my upper gi.
  4. I was sleeved yesterday morning and haven't had any gas. When did it start with you guys?
  5. Hi thank you for replying to me! I realized I probably put my post in the wrong section as I didn't realize that there was a section for people who were banded. I don't know how you could stand to have the band that long. I dealt with it for a month with the slippage and threw up everything I ate. Once it was removed, I was back to normal again and felt complete releif. The bad thing is that I've been eating like crazy for the last weeks knowing that I'm going to get the Sleeve. I'm hoping that the recovery will be similar but I'm hoping I'll be less hungry this time. My surgury is set for March 14 so I've got 6 weeks to go and have already started my liquid diet. I hope that it goes well as I hope yours does too. I've also been watching you tube videos. It's amazing how fast and quickly those people have changed. I'm considering doing one myself but I'm a little on the shy side.
  6. Hi everyone. I am due to get sleeved on March 14, and as the days get closer I'm getting more nervous. I'm 25 years old and have been overweight pretty much as long as I can remember except those few times I've lost over 100 pounds only to gain it right back. In August of 2011 I had a lap band put in which failed the first time I got a fill. My dr poked a hole in it and that started a long series of events that lead to a slippage. I then decided to have it removed 3 weeks ago and convert to the sleeve. If there is anyone out there who has went from the band to the sleeve I'd like to hear your experience. One surgury for me has now turned into 3! I'm excited to get to know all of you. April
  7. I got my lap band about 12 weeks ago. My first fill my Dr poked a hole in the tubing. Im having surgery to fix the port Jan 4. Yesterday I found out the band has now slipped and is sitting on the top of my stomach with no pouch. I can't eat anything without throwing it up. He is supposed to stitch a flap of the stomach over the band so this doesn't happen. Did i do something wrong here? My Dr and nurses don't seem to care
  8. Well good news.....The day after I wrote this I started feeling somewhat human and then today I feel amazing. I was so worried that I was going to feel that terrible forever. I did eat a little bit of refried beans that seemed to help me. Thanks for everyone's input I'm glad to be feeling better!
  9. Hello everyone this is my first post on this website. I've been reading everyone else's post though! I had my surgery last Wed on the 24th and I felt amazing the first 2 days. After that I started feeling really bloated and my stomach is constantly burning. I feel nauseous if I move around too much. I'm wondering if this is gastritis or if I need to do anything? When I take an antacid tablet it seems to soothe it for a few hours. Any suggestions would help please
