  1. Great question! I've been wondering the same thing lately. I weigh about the same as I did 20+ years ago, but I think I'm actually smaller because of the excess skin, and I know I didn't have all this skin back then LOL.
  2. WHOO HOOO! I love this NSV one of my favorites
  3. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! You are truly an inspiration to all of us
  4. Hi All! Halloween already??? WOW time flies I am just peeking in to wish you all the best during this challenge!!! YOU CAN DO IT! Believe in yourself! And NEVER forget YOU ARE WORTH IT...HUGS!!!
  5. I don't think any questions are ever silly or dumb...well I take that back. When I see posts like OMG I'm bleeding, have a fever and throwing up type of questions, I am tempted to say Er um, OMG SERIOUSLY??????? CALL YOUR DOCTOR!!! OR GO TO THE ER AND DO NOT PASS GO! LOL! But I don't reply...I just pray everything is OK with them and move on...OK Peace out y'all!!!
  6. OMGOSH I'm SOOOO SORRY! I just read some of the posts. I initially just read your original post and answered it. I answered because I actually ate ice cream after surgery (I was desperate) and I was fine afterwards, but again that's just ME, just sayin. I am not promoting this for anyone else. It's actually kind of neat that we are not alone and can find others that have the shared some of the same experiences.
  7. OMG I AM CRACKING UP! I am at Sam's club using a computer in the electronic section to send a reply to this cuz my dumb blackberry isn't working fast enough...ANYHOO, I didn't read any of the other posts before, I didn't realize anything was going on, I'm so sorry!!! I totally agree with you Tiff totally! I just couldn't drink anything for some reason liquids felt like a golf ball going down. But again YES you are correct!!! OK Gotta go, people are staring...LOL LOL LOL Hugs to ALL! Can we all just get along...Rodney King
  8. Got your back girl lol...no but seriously, my sleeve sister pamelaam was sleeved a month after I was and her doctor told her specifically to go and eat ice cream after her post op appointment because her blood pressure was soooo low they couldn't even find a reading. It made me feel like I made the right choice
  9. I had ice cream the 2nd week out. I knew I needed the calories, I was so weak. But that's just me, just sayin.
  10. That is awesome! congrats!!!
  11. OMG I TOOOOOOTALLY know what you mean. When people say good job, or you worked hard etc. etc. I kinda feel bad or like a fraud cuz most of the work was sleevie wonder...YOU LOOK AMAZING by the way! Long time no see, I know you are out there enjoying life CONGRATS!!!

  13. That is awesome! Keep on keeping on!
  14. I forgot to mention DEPRESSION! UGH! UGH! UGH! My relationship with food has totally changed. I use to live to eat and now I literally eat to live. I eat like a thin person and have no choice, so that is a HUGE adjustment. Anyhoo, I'm much better now, but the first 3 months were tough
  15. Awww that's so sweet! Congrats, you are doing amazing

  18. THIS IS REALLY GOOD! I especially agree with #3. But I would like to add that I had PAIN! Really bad PAIN! It's so worth it though! But it's good to know the good, the bad and the ugly!
  19. This is really encouraging data sleeve family! Thank you! So far, so good with me. Still bouncing back and forth 1-3 lbs. Before I could easily gain 5 lbs. in ONE DAY! EASILY! And that was with some restraint even ...So I just can't tell you how grateful I am for my sleevie wonder sniff, sniff.
