It's been over 3 years since I've been sleeved and i still have the urge to binge but am physically unable. U get a feeling that is not an enjoyable one when ur little stomach is full, at that point u just know to stop eating or face the consequences. Wls is not an easy way out but so worth it!
Better late than never needs to be your motto! I'm only four days in and man does that mac n cheese sound delish! We have a lot in common as I too would rather just quit cold turkey. It's very difficult to always make good decisions. Do I know right from wrong? Of course! But is right always going to win? Probably not. We have to remember that we have been given an opportunity to live healthy and its not easy, but we wouldn't appreciate it if it was...right?
I'm only 4 days in and am at a loss....I don't think broth has any nutritional value so why eat it? I am busting my brain to figure out how I can get in more protein and water. Oh, btw, I am missing meats & vegis! Any suggestions on a grocery list or recipes for this newbie?
I am new to this site and this surgery. I had VSG on July 7th, came home on the 9th and am a proud to be a member of the July Firecrackers! I'm not really a blogger, but having been overweight all of my life I am acknowledging that I will need as much support as possible. I am also here to answer any questions and figure between all of us we can figure out how to be losers!
Still not sure how to add the ticker and all.... : ) Good Luck to my new friends!
