i totally agree, it's a great feeling ... use to hide from the camera and now I'm front and center ...I'm so totally happy i was sleeved ... truly feel as if i have just began to live .... and enjoying every second....

i agree through it all i just tried to stay focused on the positive... the sleeve has been a big positive distraction for me... i think things would have been much worse if i wasn't sleeved ... Loving my sleeve!!!!

I'm so very happy and wanted to share my story and pics ... some of you already know ... i was sleeved by Dr Aceves on July 29 ( uneventful) ... my best friend was totally against it, she call the sleeve an abomination. My husband left me 9 days after being sleeved, my one year old came down pneumonia, and my house had been on the market for nearly a year with no offers... ok so I had a heart to heart with my bestie ( we are great and she is super supportive )... i divorced my hub (who is still supportive and encourages me),my son made a full recovery, and I'm closing on my house and move to Atlanta in a few days... I'm already dating and loving it ... and i'm so happy i was sleeved.... from 3x to XL and so loving life right now ... Haven't really been on here, I've been killing it at the gym ( 2 hours and day) and packing my house ... starting weight 247 and current 194... before after P.S. the dress in the 1st after pic is the same one from my before pic my mom takes in all my clothes... love having clothes taken in instead of let out ... ; ) I'm still pinching myself ... it's so hard to believe ... I can't wait to update this in 6 months .....

So post ops... what is your workout regimen ??? As I get further along on my journey, I need to mix it up a bit ... So do you have problem area(s)? what exercise(s) are you doing to correct it? And is it working for you? All Input greatly appreciated ... ( : So my problem areas are my arms and yes my tummy ... and yeah would love to have a firmer and rounder but instead of this pancake .... below is my pic 1- pre op 2- pre op 3 -1 month post op 4 -1 and1/2 month post op 5 and 6- current ... less than 2 months out and in Onerland... Yay!!!

i love dr aceves and his team ... i had no pain no nausea and the weight is just falling off.... hope this helps 247 before pre op diet and 243 day of surgery .... see info below ... hope this helps .... loving my sleeve ... and forever greatful to the dr and his team that made it possible ... ( i also learned while there in mexico that alot of his patients are referrals from previous patients a couple of the people there had never been on this site or on the internet for that matter .... )

http://www.bodyfatguide.com/LooseSkin.htm great article i have to agree to due to my life experince and noticing that the same 200 lbs looks so different everytime i made my way back to it ....over the year 200 looks flabbier and flabbier...i did crash diet and extreme exercise... now 225 and a 40 bmi i look more like 300 lbs and 70 bmi.... for me utlimately at goal i will work my way up to about 1200 calorie and hit the gym to maintain... and then if i need plastic 2 years out i'll get my pcp to help me....

ok so even though i'm able to have a full liquid diet ( thick liquids) such as purees ... because i'm 2 weeks out ... but i just don't want to eat ....i have no appetite, not hungry at all .... i know alot of this is mental because i'm going through alot i mean alot right now emotionally and physically... ( husband walk out and my kids are 4 yr old and 11 months old, and i have no other family here, i had gallstones that i had to have removed....) like i said alot ok so focusing on this issue.....SO i'm getting in 50 g of Protein (Shakes) and 64 oz of Water ... and no Soup, no yogurt , no Jello .... so very little about 340 carlorie and about 12 g of carbs had a very bad scare with soupy grits at day 7 and ever since i haven't want anything ..... so for those that have traveled this road before ... my question is do you think my current intake could be harmful to me down the line or stop my weightloss ... thanks for helping....

checking in late, but yes i'm here ... great to hear everyone is doing so well and getting great results.... my surgery was july 30th... i'm just under 2 weeks out and i have lost 22lbs... i'm so happy with my progress and happy with my sleeve...
