I had the mirena before I had the sleeve surgery! It was the best thing ever. THE BEST THING!!!! I didnt have any problems with mine but I have heard of people that hated it.

I had surgery 6 wks ago and have been doing pretty good. I have a summer cold that started a few days ago and now i cant hardly eat and Im sick to my stomach. I wake up first thing in the mornings throwing up because of the drainage. i get sick through the day because im coughing so much! Has this happened to anyone else?

Im 16 days out of surgery and my blood pressure is running 90 over 60! Is that ok or is it to low?

Im like 10 days out and I havent lost alot either! I have lost like 5 lbs since surgery and I really thought it would be like 10 or so by now. They say you lose fast the first little bit after surgery but not me so I know how you feel!!!

I took my pain meds for prolly 3 days but it was more for the gas pains. Nothing else I took would help so.......

My husband just went to the store and got me an acid reducer so i hope that helps! Thanks for the help. Hard to believe my doctor wouldnt give me anything knowing how bad I was hurting with it! Youll are great !!!!

and is it over the counter? My dr doesnt want to give any meds!

I had surgery wed july 6! I have done great...I havent been sick and about to drink pretty good! Im not on anything but loratab and gas x! I feel like i shouldnt complain because im doing good but whatever this is isnt getting better and is very uncomfortable! I feel sooo bloated and my stomach is going crazy! Sometimes its very painful! Just wasnt sure if there was a different meds i could try over the counter that might help!

If you are like me then a book isnt a good idea! I would be changing channels on tv and fall asleep. I would pick up my little cup to take a drink and fall asleep with it in my hand! I slept alot, drink alittle but that takes a long time and walked! Thats pretty much all i wanted to do! I took 2 outfits 2 the hospital and was so glad i did. I started out wearing pants and tshirt and about 5 am I got so cold i put on a little jumper suit with a light jacket!

OK Im not sure what this is? My stomach is bubbling so bad...i think its gas but walking and gas x doesnt help so could it be something else? I am willing to try anything to make it stop! Im not having any pain but the bubbling? I do think some of it is gas but could it be something else too! Im 5 days out now!

Hey everybody! I had surgery the morning of July 6! I was scared as they got me ready for surgery (all I kept thinking was where is my happy meds)! Finally they gave me my happy meds and nothing happened so they waited and they gave me more ....and once again nothing! So need less to say I was wide awake and scared to death when i went to the or! They knocked me out and they next thing I remember I was in recovery in serious pain! I couldnt cry i hurt so bad but it didnt last but a minute and they gave me meds and I was fine! I can say that is the only pain I have had besides the gas pains! The gas pains have been pretty bad but every day getting better! I havent been sick at all and drinking pretty much everything i want! I am very excited ..... I lost 10 lbs pre op now since being home i have lost 3lbs so thats 13 lbs total and im very swollen still!!!! Cant wait to see what I will be one month after surgery!

when did u have your surgery? i had mine wed how much liquids are u getting down? I am so bloated its hard to get anything down the gas is trapped and making me hurt so bad

Hey I had my surgery wed and Im doing pretty good. My potassium was low to but only by a little bit! They had me drink as much potassium as i could because they had already taken my iv out! Well being this was after surgery i was only able to get 1/4 of it down! I told me to drink apple juice, orange juice, tomatoes juice and that would help bring mine up alittle! Hope you are doing better today!

I had my surgery yesterday! I feel pretty good but the gas pain is a killer. I have been wallking, taking gas x, and heating pad on my shoulder! Whatelse can i try ? Its really bad right now and i am hurting!

Im having surgery July the 6th in louisiana! Im very excited! Im ready to clean out my closet and dresser and put new smaller clothes in there! I have clothes from YEARS ago that i said maybe one day I can get back in them>>>>>well thats right around the corner now and I cant wait!! Congrats to all of us!

When is your surgery? mine is july 6th and i am taking the chewable vitamins 2!

Mine are 6 and 10. I know I have to tell them something just not sure what yet!
