Yes , Thursday the date I am so very proud of you for the 15lbs weight loss. I am kind of nervous with labor day being Monday... I guess there will always be a holiday and birthday and some excuse LOL!!! I want this soo bad I just love this website. I am new to the talk forums so be with me. If i dont answer right away. I will keep you posted bought all kids of Protein Shakes from costco so I am ready. I am sorry to hear you have to be on the pre-op diet for four weeks. My surgery date is the same as yours Wednesday Sept. 14th but I dont start the diet till Sept 1st. Lets keep intouch and encourge each other. I know you can do it!! You came this far.

Well , I am happy to say I fianally have a secured surgery date. My dates went from August 12,2011 to August 19th now the actually day is drum roll please .......... SEPTEMBER 14,2011 @ 7:30am I am so excited. I start my high protein diet on September 1st. I have so happy to have a site where we can talk and encourge each other through this amazing new beginings.

Congrats to all of the August 2011 banders. I too just got approval from my insurance. My surgery date is August 19,2011. I start the pre - op diet tomorrow. I am so excitied.

Thank you so much for answering I was so freaking out since I already had and echo done none doctor had ordered a stress test. Once I get the okay from cardio doctor its waiting for the insurance approval..... Ahhhh the joy of waiting. Hello Everyone - I have a question have any of you done a treadmill stress test? And what it involves? I have to past this test and get it signed off from my cardio doctor before my dr will summit for approval from my insurance. Going this Wednesday..... I am already started on 1700 calorie diet with a Protein shake for one of my meals. I have cut out all caffiene for about two months do you think that will be a plus.... thanks for taking the time to answer..... I had to do a treadmill test also. I went in and they did a sonogram of my heart first. It took about 30 mins. Then I went in for the treadmill test. They did a resting EKG and took my blood pressure. Then I got on the treadmill and was still hooked up. It started slow and got faster and inclined. I had to get my heart rate up to a certain number but I can't remember. Once it was there she stopped it. It only took maybe 10-15 mins, and was a lot easier than I thought.
