  1. That is such REALLY good news!!! I have mild arthritis... but chronic pain in my hips, knees and heels... what I want MOST from surgery is mobility without pain!!! (and increased energy!!) :-) Amy
  2. HI, I had my preop appt today. My surgeon said by 2 wks post op I could swallow pills --- before that only liquids or crushed. Also, I am a RN and both dilaudid and hydrocodone (not too mention tylenol!) come in liquid forms as well. Good luck!! Amy
