  1. Hi there everyone, i was just banded on 6/3 in mexico, i went with my mom and we both got bands, surgery went well, got home a few days after. I am a nurse in the emergency room so going back to work is going to be challenging. i am feeling pretty much pain free, i have pain at my port site, and when i get hungry i have pain in my left shoulder, don't know why though. my only issue now is that i am starving all day long on the clear diet. can't wait to move on to creamy soups next week
  2. i had my band placed june 3rd, it wasn't bad, but i didn't have to do a pre op diet and now i wish i did, because i am starving, feels like i never had anything put on my stomach, i want to eat so badly, and i feel like i could, but i don't because i don't want to screw this up, anyone else have anything like this
  3. Hi everyone, So i got my band placed on june 3rd just last week, i flew to Mexico with my mom and we did it together, the surgery wasn't bad, i was pretty pain free for the most part. but now i am day 5 and i am hungry all the time, and when i am hungry i get a shotting pain up in my neck and shoulder, what is that about, but more so i am hungry, i would give anything to eat something besides broth and Jello, which i know something different will be coming soon, but i am just wondering was anyone else hungry alot after the surgery, also i have a lot of pain at my port site, has anyone else had that? Thanks Michelle
