  1. Those low carb Slim Fast shakes do it to me EVERYTIME!!! It is strange, because it didn't happen prior to the surgery... I am 3 months out..Oh and good luck!
  2. Thank you for posting those amazing pix! I just got motivated again to really stick to the diet! You ARE beautiful!

  4. Hello everyone! I was sleeved June 1, 2011 at Immanual Hospital in Omaha, NE by Dr. Tom White. I had an uncomplicated surgery and recovery. I went home the next afternoon and have had no real issues since! I feel fortunate for that. I am tolerating soft foods well now. The decision for me to get sleeved came about quite a while back when I had been having more complications from Pulmonary Hypertension and heart failure from my increasing weight. You see, with these problems, I was getting to where I couldn't even walk down a hall at work without getting short of breath. I am a Respiratory Therapist now, just graduated from nursing school, so this was getting pretty embarrassing and discouraging. My BMI was only at 35, but with these health issues, it was getting too difficult for me to even put shoes on. I am glad I had it done and am very thankful for this forum! I have learned so much from everyone. The only question I have is how to put the ticker on my profile!!!
  5. Hi! I was also sleeved June 1st and am only down 8 lbs since surgery, so I would say you are doing great! I think a lot of the problem might be water weight??? I am anxious to start walking (even slowly) and i think that will help a lot since my metabolism is probably way down right now due to lack of energy intake. Good luck to you and glad to know someone sleeved the same day!
