I have decided that after many years of diets the lap band is the answer for me. I am a little nervous. Reading all of the blogs has helped and scared me all at the same time. The stories of still being hungry and not losing weight are frightening. I understand that it is just a tool and I still have to work at making better food choices, but I am counting on knowing when I am full. I haven't really felt full in a long time. I feel like I get to miserable before I realize that I am full. I really don't even eat as much as I used to but still do not lose weight. I have no energy to exercise so I am hoping that will change. My knees hurt every time I get up or have to go up and down stairs. I am too young to feel this old!! I welcome your encouraging thoughts and helpful tips. My surgery is the day after tomorrow. Wish me luck!!
