  3. Final weigh-in @ 246.4. November was not a good month had port revision surgery, can no longer exercise until cleared (Friday will be 2 weeks of no exercise), and Thanksgiving eating........Ughhhh!
  4. Hello everyone thank you for your well wishes. The procedure went fine. As soon as I woke up from anesthesia and signed my discharge papers I was free to go. My incision site is a little sore but thats it. He gave me a prescription for liquid pain medication that I did not fill. When we were signing medical consent prior to procedure I asked my surgeon if he was still going to give me a 1cc fill like we discussed in the office and he said yes he is going to do a small fill. I mentioned this because I don't believe he did, this weekend I ate a lot and made some bad choices, when I stepped on the scale last night it indicated several lbs gain. I honestly did not think I had done that much damage. I feel horrible! I really blew it and to think thanksgiving is this week. I did not do any exercised because I did not want mess up anything and my doctor did not give me instruction on when I can resume my normal exercise regime (I did not see he after procedure. About right now to ask some questions). So to sum things up doing fine, procedure was a snap, just bummed because of my failure and gain this weekend. Again thank you everyone! Good Day!
  5. I have had one fill and it went effortlessly when he did the fill, since then nothing. I hope that you get good news on Tuesday. Thank you much! Will update either tomorrow after procedure or Saturday.

  7. Excellent insight...............think I will start to think a little different now. Financially I am not in the position to buy many new clothes, so wearing them until they are about falling off is kinda beneficial.
  8. Hi Kellysue...........I totally agree with you! I have lost 42 pounds to date and I am still able to wear the pants that I was wearing pre-band. Yes there is a slight difference in the fit, but I hoped I would NEED to buy a size smaller. It hasn't happened yet. I think being able to buy and fit into a smaller size would give me MORE motivation. Right now I am at the point that I don't want to put on clothes because I get disappointed. I do admit that they were very fitted, but I thought 42lbs would a least give me 1 size down.
  9. Good deal Kristen..............restriction. Accepting and sending the postive thoughts back at cha!
  10. OWWWWWWW!! I absolutely love chick fil A! Is it really that bad? Maybe if I eat it with just on side of the bun? Great now I am thinking about a chicken sandwhich! LOL!!
  11. Hi GG I go in @ 11am for 1pm. I am ready to continue on this journey. Thank you much!
  12. Thank you much Kristen! I am nervous but ready to get it over with.
  13. I feel so left out of the club.......LOL. I have only had one little lonely fill.........ugh! Boy is this willpower thing a challenge. I go for my port revision on this Friday, so ready to get this over with so I can get this ball rolling with my fills. Most of you are on your 3rd plus fill by now. Best wishes everyone.
  14. Today I met the 40lbs loss mark! :woot: Now if I can just get the inches to start moving, so I can go down a size in my clothing!

  16. No Trevebyn. I feel absolutely no difference. And my doctors keep asking me if I feel anything and I haven't, he seemed confused by that.
  17. Thank you!
  18. Tried again today to fill and could not so, I will have go back to surgery for him to flip, move, stitch, or whatever this port. Last week I left with blood on my shoes, today on my sleeve. I go on 11/18, I hope post-op will not be like the intital lapband placement.
  19. It will be done at the hospital...........anesthesia, more money, etc. I am scheduled for 11/18 and he said while he is in there he will give me a 1 cc fill (honestly that did not make me feel any better). I had a break down in doctor's office, the nurse was concerned about me, so much so she just told me to walk out the office don't worry about the copay or anything. I am just overwhelmed with this whole lapband situation right now, and I dread telling my mom (she will have to be my driver post-anesthesia) because I don't want to hear the I told you so's. I am trying GG.
  20. Another failed fill attempt..........still having problems with port. Looks like I will be going back under the knife again after all! :(
  21. Forgot to update but found out that port not flipped. And when I called the nurse she said that the doctor was hitting himself in the head because after I left he remember that he put in a low profile port (which I did not know) and they sometimes are difficult to access. I go in for another attempt for a fill tomorrow. And I am scared because the last episode was a little painful. I hope all goes well and I leave with a much needed fill. Well wishes to all and thank you all for your continous support! Much Love. :thankyou:
  22. OMG! Caryn I have the same freaking frustration. I can still wear the same size 22 jeans that I was wearing when I weighed 293 pounds. I am now down 39lbs and still wearing the same jeans. I put them on yesterday I shouted SERIOUSLY! I wore them all day and keep saying to myself I can't believe I am still wearing these! LOL!
  23. Thank you ladies for your information. I am waiting on my doctor to let me know what will be done.
