  1. I am also going to MX. Hopefully in July. Will be using Dr. Kelly. Excited. Nervous. Scared. READY! This will be my last summer dealing with the heat & humidity of TX. I plan on reaching my goal & being in better shape next summer. I might even wear a swim suit without a shirt & shorts to cover it up. Whoo hoo!
  2. I have recently decided to have bariatric surgery. First I was set on the gastric bypass, knowing how fast the weight comes off. That is impressive. And I've dieted where you may lose 1-2 pounds a week, if you don't blow it with one meal and gain it all back. But after all the research I decided to have the gastric sleeve. On a more personal note, my best friend died 3years ago from a pulmonary embolism 3 weeks post-op from a gastric bypass. For that reason alone, it's crazy that I am going to do this. But there comes a time when enough is enough! I've tried it all and suck at all the diets. And now I have to do what I believe I need to do to be healthy. I need to live! This journey will be an exciting one, yet scarey. After all the research, with the help of my husband, I will probably have Dr. Kelly in Mexico perform it. Any stories about him???
