  1. I agree with all of the above 100%.... We're going to address this in two steps: 1) At some point this week we're going to add a setting which will allow you to click a button which will set you to only view forum content based on the surgery you selected. This will apply to the mobile app as well. 2) We're releasing our own mobile apps shortly which will automatically show you content based on the procedure selected in your member settings. Your feedback and suggestions aren't falling on deaf ears. PLEASE keep the feedback coming! We plan on improving the site and features until (almost) everyone is satisfied.
  2. Are you referring to the New Content link found in the top Navigation bar or are you referring to the 10 most recent topics that were always updated in the right side bar of the site ? We're tweaking the sidebar contents over the next 24-48 hours and you should see a vast improvement in that area. Yes, absolutely! You have two options: 1) Change the surgery type in your patient profile. This will set New Content to only display content based on the surgery selected. 2) Visit New Content and you'll see the last option in the right side bar under Other called "Filter by forum." Click that link and select the forum(s) you'd like to display in New Content. We plan on beefing this feature up over the next few days where you'll be able to set your settings to only display content relating to your specific surgery across the entire site. I don't believe this was ever a feature.....are you referring to New Content ?
  3. Post count updated. It was only by chance that I read your post. I don't have the opportunity to read everything that's posted. Please drop me a PM if you or anyone else has ANY issues with the site.
  4. It's 23 in NYC at the moment!
  5. I use the app myself and receive the same errors. It frustrates me immensely! We originially relied on outside sources for the app you're currently using and there's not much we're able to do with it at this point. We spent the last few months developing and test our own set of apps. Once they're released, we'll be able to deal with any bugs or other issues almost immediately. We should have version 1.0 of our Android app out this week. The beta version of our iOS app will follow soon after.
  6. You can edit this info as well as other info in your Patient Profile.
  7. Happy Birthday to one of our favorite members......☠carolinagirl☠ !!! Hope you Celebrate many many more birthdays with us and have a wonderful day!
  8. Most Polar straps are compatible with the heart rate monitors built in to many pieces of standard gym equipment. I personally use the FT4. I find wearing a strap around my chest to be very uncomfortable and it slides down quite a bit when I'm really pushing myself hard. I can't wait for (accurate) heart rate monitors that don't require chest bands. The technology is there and should be coming to market in a few months.
  9. I tested out some high capacity workout equipment at Obesity Week and was pretty impressed. Check out http://www.nustep.com/us/consumer/ for more info. Might not fit your budget but definitely something to research.
  10. I pre-ordered the day it was announced and they shipped the day they got them in stock. Looks like they're back ordered again. I use the wifi scale as well. I LOVE tracking everything in my life. The historic data and charts are awesome. I read about this sensor and I'm on their beta waiting list. I plan on purchasing one the second it's available. I'm sick of wearing a heart rate monitor around my chest and I've been waiting very impatiently for one that can be worn around the wrist.
  11. You're in awesome hands. I just met him @ Obesity Week in Atlanta, GA last week. Send Dr. A my best please!
  12. I'll fix your account...hold on....Sending you a PM.
  13. Happened to me as well today Thanks!
  14. Please post your issues here if at all possible. We'll deal with them one by one.
  15. I used the FitBit Flex for 6 months. Fell in love with it and purchased the matching FitBit Aria scale. I pre-ordered the FitBit Force the day it was announced and have been using it since November 7th. I loooooove my FitBit toys. They really help keep me motivated and moving. Tracking my (lack) of sleep is awesome. If you can afford the Force, go for it. The watch, screen and battery life were a huge plus for me. My goal in the future is to integrate this site/app with FitBit and the other trackers and popular health apps.
  16. Be thankful you still have your hair! I read many posts where members discuss hair falling out in clumps
  17. Wow, really neat! Post some more YouTube videos. They're really inspiring to watch.
  18. Just checking in to see if this issue has been resolved for you ?
  19. I'm not positive but that sound might be someone in the chat room. It's possible you were in there and didn't click on exit when you left. We're going to be testing different ideas for the header and footer over the next few weeks. Hopefully we can satisfy everyone.
  20. We are aware of this issue. It's on our list of bugs to fix. We will get there....
  21. Definitely sounds like a FF issue. We use CKeditor which is pretty industry standard these days. I know there were some very minor compatibility issues with the latest FF and IE versions.
  22. Once the dust settles down and everything is working 100%, we plan on sending an email to all members with a simple tutorial which will explain all the new features added to the site. At the moment we automatically filter your New Content to display only the forums based on the surgery selected in a members patient profile.
  23. Nope! I'll message you now
  24. Thank you...it will! Most issues members have been experiencing will be quashed within the next few days. Change isn't easy and it's understandably disorienting for some. We really appreciate everyones patience.
  25. You were filtering the forums and only had a few forums selected. I reset your filter and you should be good to go. You can do this yourself by playing around with the settings on the right hand sidebar once you click on New Content.
