I am 40 years old.  I have lost from 315 to present weight on my own and pretty much maintained for over a year.  Now i am wanting to lost the rest.  I feel better and health issues are currently under control without meds.  Would love to ensure they stay that way.   I have a point that i cant break on myown and i am hoping that the lapband is the tool i am looking for. 
There are several things i am concerned about.  My trip to the psychiatrist really messed with me.  How often do people really and truly die from this procedure and how often do they experience mental issues afterward?  Sanity im not to worried about cause im insane anyway...........but the other is bothering me a bit.
I actually have a friend that is having her surgery next week.  We work together so that will be awesome. I figure she is a month ahead of me going down the lapband path and actually recommended this site to me.  Good luck loo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
