I started off researching the Lap-Band for my sister who is 18 and over 300 lbs. During this time I quickly realized this was something I could do myself! I joined lapbandtalk.com, and have been asking questions ever since. I attended the seminar last week, my blood work has been sent in, and my 1st clinic visit and psych. evaluation are scheduled! I am nervous as hell, but just as excited. It's not going to be easy, but neither is being fat  . I know it's not a magic bullet, but a TOOL.  And I'm ready to use it! :)
