  1. So a quick update to all who followed. I am having issues with throwing up, food getting stuck and I think its because I eat too fast. Also I am gaining weight again... I'm back up to 235... what steps should I take? I am starting to get worried!
  2. great seeing you there yesterday!!
  3. dont go all out with the protein shakes, get some muscle milk light and call it a day. it works great, tastes... sorta good (better than others) and at only 100 calories per shake its fantastic.
  4. so the meeting is tommorow girls and guys! hope to see everyone there! 7pm syosset hospital conf room a+b im still a bit meh, i havent lost much if anything ive gained, i weighed myself this morning and im at 230ish again
  5. they sell those popsicle brand ice pops that are sugar free. sold at BJS or costco cant remember which one. also soups.... dont buy the canned low sodium fat free ones, they taste disgusting. if you can, make your own low fat Soup, its worth it. egg substitute for when your on mushies, Jello no sugar nonfat pudding cups are great, try to stay away from high sodium broths they are bad for you. if you can do low sodium do those. but the best thing you will love are the sugar free pops
  6. honestly, i havent been to any of the followup meetings yet, i was banded in May so i missed a few of them already, but I am making it a point to go to this one on August 16th! whos coming with me! i'd love to meet everyone there!
  7. come to the august 16th post op lapband meeting! i am making it a point to go! 7pm at syossett hospital in conf room a&b
  8. great to hear! I got a fill a few days ago! and my weight dropped, is it normal for your weight to drop almost instantly (by the next day) that you get a fill? my weight is now down to about 225/227ish!!!! i am shooting for 220!
  9. best thing you can do is retrain yourself to eat smaller portions and get a fill! the fill will help you feel full. also you have to watch what you eat, stick with the low fat versions, keep it healthy and delicious! for dinner I made grilled red snapper, salad and some basmati rice (i stayed away from that!)
  10. i would suggest lots of walking! it sounds like air that is still trying to make its way out, (i am not a MD!) but I would keep walking around and be mobile, it should help move the air out
  11. i hope by now your on icies, the orange ice sherbert is AMAZING! i said a prayer for you and hope you are doing well! as far as myself.... i tried rice again today... BIG MISTAKE! i will not try it again! it turns into a plug and blech it all comes right back up! however, i think the weight is slowly slowly coming off... am i expecting too much too fast? or is this normal?
  12. dont eat! you will be fine! hold out just a bit more, i promise the end result will be worth it! best of luck tomorrow!
  13. a girl i think her name is Jillian, or jessica or something along those lines. but either way i weighed myself today now I am down to 228lbs. i have a feeling it will flux back up again over the next few days, congrats on your surgery! let me know how it goes! will you be going to the Lap band meetings? I want to make it to the newly banded meeting in August (i missed this months again 3rd tuesday) let me know if you go i will go as well! This is me as of yesterday
