I FEEL at least 5# heavier. I was (and still am) soooooooo sleepy i actually forgot to get on the scale this morning. Really, I did!! Well, Kat -- I just have to say that i've been thinking of you ever since I left you on the steps of our hotel in SA. I am so excited for you and of course you have my prayers for a very successful surgery and extra-speedy recovery. You are going to look sooooooooooooooooooooooo awesome when this is all done. Ok, so if we plan a trip to Steamboat Springs for next year... can we be the Steamy Violets??? Well, I just got home, threw my stuff in the kitchen and bedroom, hopped in the shower and powered up the laptop. Hoping you all are travelling comfortably and will be home in your own beds soon. I just want to say a big huge THANK YOU to all of you for coming to Texas!! I hope you all enjoyed yourselves and the trip met with your expectations. I know it met and exceeded mine in so many ways and theres no way I can express adequately how much I enjoyed spending time, laughing and telling stories with each of you. You are all so very special (or speshul, as the case may be) in your own unique way. I feel like I have 10 new best friends and THAT is pretty damn (sorry, Judy) cool. Wow....this is soooo cool!! I don't even have words. Pammy, dontcha worry about not doing the river... you do whatever you like, girlfriend. I was just sitting here worrying about what to do with my (electronic) keys and how to keep them dry, so you can be the keeper of the keys, ok? Not exactly sure how we'll coordinate meeting up with you at the end but we'll figure that out. It's 5:15 and I'm havin' a little java before I hit the shower. Gotta pack the ice chest w/ food and get my suitcase packed then I'm hittin' the road about 7:00. Let me just say that I appreciate all the effort you are putting out to get here, girls. Arranging sitters, putting up with cranky DH's, missing events, waking up uber-early to make flights, $money$, pushing thru illnesses, and much more. THANK YOU. What a gift this is!!! .....NOW....if we can just get everyone on the ground on time.....If that happens, I'll KNOW we are truly blessed!! (Now I know how a mother hen feels trying to keep all her chicks together!) Love you all!

I'm packing way too much. Too much food, too many shoes, and too many clothes. So stupid. I always do this. I think I'll go to bed. I wake up at 4:00a every day anyway (an hour before my alarm!)....so I think I'll wrap up my packing then. I wonder how Jenn's doing? I can only imagine!!

Laura, the schedule and prices were a big consideration because IAH is a big hub, so more convenient. The other thing is that you prolly would have had to connect in Dallas or Houston anyway. Also, I guarantee that the 3 hours to Gruene will FLY by with ya'll yacking in the car.

Your band doctor told you to go to the ER and maybe one of the doctors could help?? Uh, what about HIM helping?? I don't know whether it's true or not, but I've heard here on LBT that surgery is required. I googled solvents for chewing gum and saw one that you could try: warm vinegar. Doesn't sound very pleasant, but better than surgery. Please let us know how you do.

The SAT airport has 2 terminals...and the logical place to meet is outside in an open area that is between the two. That's what the guy at the airport told me. That is also the spot where Tracy will be pulling up. Tracy, I will have gone before you, so call me if you get confused about where to go.....although airports are usually very well marked. Just look for "Arriving Flights / Passenger Cars".... something like that.

I'm bringing a cute 16-18W swim suit for anyone who might want it. I think I wore it once and prolly paid $100 for it! And a terry cover-up, too. I really should have gotten a new swimsuit but just no time to shop. I also thought I had river sandals and canNOT find them. So there's one more errand to run!!! If I have to I can get some in Gruene, I'm sure. I'm too excited to sleep and DH is out of town...I'll be tossing and turning all night!!

Ok,what is it with you people FALLING APART??!!!?!? Jane-- I am so sorry you had that experience today!! :party: Well, I made my Sam's run and got some Snacks...and that got me excited all over again!! I just can't wait until tomorrow is OVER and I have just one more sleep! wheeee!!! Kat - Mom is doing ok BUT she picked up an antibiotic resistant infection at the hospital (a VRE infection) and now has to be in isolation for 2-3 weeks at the nursing home :smile: I tell ya, it's always something! She must be taking 24 different drugs now. Poor thing!! In that regard I wish I wasn't going away this weekend. I hope she'll be okay.
