  1. Found it! LilMissDiva's Basic Boot Camp info http://www.verticalsleevetalk.com/topic/28139-the-basics-boot-camp/ Can't wait to get this thing back on the move. Thanks again Dorrie!
  2. Dorrie - Sounds like a great idea!! I've tried to search it and I'm just not doing something right. Would you happen to have a link to where it tells me what to do for the Basic Boot Camp, or should I just message LilMissDiva? Thanks! Robin

  4. I'm totally with ya on that need to carb detox, Brandi. I've been contemplating a two week liquid fast like pre-op... I don't know if I really need to go that extreme, but I don't think it would hurt. I just need to get that carb monster outta my head.
  5. Hi ladies! I'm right there with you all! My weightloss did great until the boyfriend moved in with me at 5 months out after surgery and while I haven't had a huge gain, I have managed to gain and lose the same 3 lbs for the past 6 months. I'd like to blame it on a stall, but truth is that I've not been doing what I should. I've finally gotten myself back on a decent workout routine and am now in the process of getting back to the VSG basics. Here's to meeting our goals in 2012!! Good luck to you all, I know you can do it! ~Robin

  9. Oh, I don't know....I wouldn't be too hard on anyone that asked me such a question, especially since it was one concern that I had myself. People aren't always asking questions to shoot each other down. There are many times they are just curious and possibly are considering the surgery themselves and just want to be well informed. Lets give people the benefit of the doubt before shooting them down.
  10. That's a bummer, Meggiep (btw, I love love your vlog!!). You'll find something that works. Thank God there are so many brands out there!

  12. Hang in there, Michelle! Maybe it's just this week for all of us...I've been hitting an emotional blue period over the past few days also. Like you I feel blessed to have received this opportunity, and I'm so excited abot my loss so far and the journey yet to come. Maybe its just that we start to think ahead and wonder about changes to come as well as those we are currently going through. This too shall pass Hang in there, Chica....we can do this!! Robin
  13. Aww...don't kick yourself, Samantha. Just think, 'okay, so I had a fall.' Now pick yourself up and keep going on your journey as before. Look at how well you have done so far and all the hardwork you have put in to get where you are. Be proud of yourself and just hang in there. You are doing great!! I think we are all tempted and I think we will all end up caving at one point or another, but the trick is in pulling ourselves back up and keep moving forward. You can do this!! Best of wishes, Robin
  14. Loved reading about your trip, Griselda! I'm sorry that you didn't get to stay at the Lucerna, but it sounds like the place you did end up at was just as nice (with the exception of wifi in the room). Can't wait to hear the rest of your journey along the way! Congrats!!
  15. Congratulations!! Keep up the great work!
  16. It really helped for me to lightly rub some Neosporin cream around them. Not sure if it was the so called "pain relief" that Neosporin claims to have or what, but it sure helped.
