Linda I am 59 and will be banded 6/6/11. I share the same emotions.....very excited and a tiny bit scared.....not so much I wont go through with it..this liquid diet is a bummer though!

How exciting for you! I saw my surgeon today and they will submit to tricare prime tomorrow. Can't wait to get moving on this journey.

That is wonderful! I have an appointment with the surgeon on Monday, 5/16 and then they will submit it to my insurance. It is a long road....I hope to be banded in June. Good luck with your journey.

How exciting for you! I am going to my psych evaluation on 5/3/11 and am waiting on further insurance approval......seems to take a really long time. I am hopeful for early June. It is an exciting journey!
