    The better you FEEL and LOOK the more it doesn't matter. It's not the main thing in your life, other things become important. I am almost 3 years in. I will tell you one thing learn the new way of eating from the beginning, no matter how hard and you will be much happier in the food department. This is a journey, you will make your own personal adjustments in regard to eating. What works for you, maybe like they said. leftover containers are my best friend. You can still go out to eat, the conversation, the company, the laughs become priority, NOT THE FOOD. iTS A NEW LIFE. ENJOY

    Sandy M./Katie Keane They had me so afraid of the feeling you would get from carbonation, I was petrified. I finally tried a sip of pepsi and wham the pressure in the chest. No thanks. But summer, oh I wanted something COLD and refreshing. Remembered, Friendly;s Slammers. Which is Sherbert of choice and seltzer with a bit of vanilla syrup. They mix it like a malt so there is no carbonation left, but oh is it C_O_L_D. This my treat when I have been shopping all day in town and the thirst is unyielding. Maybe 3x a month. Didn't hurt me. coffee lost the taste for it. I was using Int'l delight flavors in my unjury shakes to liven it up a bit. Happen to try the Sweet Cream flavor in a cup coffee delicious. Stopped using so much Splenda. Very thankful. Still do. As long as you are losing like you want and should, feel healthy you will find ways that work for you. I am further along then you in time not by much. My goal was get healthy, feel great about me and enjoy life. Not necessarily a weight goal per say. I am older, did not want to have a prune look. I have lost 90 lbs, and I can shop At Chico's, great clothes store. My cholesterol is 139.

    Katie Keane to blueGurden That's fantastic on your eating regimen. You GO Girl. Your doing great! 30 lbs. since DEC. that's wonderful. If you are doing this good and no eating problems your band is fine. And whatever else your doing. I think my problem from the beginning was I used shakes to much instead if learning the new eating habits. Which I am concentrating on more now. My big advice is make sure you get your total Protein and veggies for the day. If you don't it will affect things like your hair. I m having that problem now. And having to work on it. BEWARE

    Katie Keane to bluegarden When something won't go down you get a pressure that has to go. It will make you let or get it up. Like I said, it comes up in my case anyway, like bubbles of liquid. I think until you get eating properly LEARNED, this is something you will have to deal with. Eating small, SLOW, SLOW, and chew, chew, chew, is the way you have to do it. I myself am still battling this after 2 years. Now after stating that down part of the whole thing, I had quadruple By-Pass surgery, and was diagnosed with diabetis. Weighed 275 lbs. 3 years ago. Now, weight is 180, don't have diabetis, my blood work is utterly fantastic. Cholesterol is 135. I eat a lot, NO, can I try anything to see if I can YES. If I follow the rule, if I don't I suffer. Is it worth it. Oh I forgot, feel wonderful, look great, YEH, love myself??? You bet!!!!! I just looked at your picture, you are half my age I bet. Oh, How, I wish I had been able to do this 30 years ago. Good Luck chat anytime you want.

    Katie Keane You really have to see what works for you. Everyone is different how food goes down. You are going to do a lot of throwing up. Which is weird it usually is not what you ate, but big bubbles of liquid, Or air. You'll figure the due and don'ts and it will drive you crazy. I went at food very slow. A lot of shakes. It drove me crazy I could eat a piece of licorice, but not a small piece of chicken. You have to feel YOUR way. I'm 2 years, Look great, healthy, my priorities. We didn't do this to continue the bad road. I eat what I can eat. If its a couple of bites of each thing so be it. Big portions are gone and who needs them. Just let out band twice and starting to eat more adventurously. Good food. Can't eat a lot of anything and that's okay. Don't miss it! Started juicing to get more nutrients I was missing. Kinda like that. The weight comes off nicely the food a battle, a different one,

    Really need the PROTEIN

    Katie Keane So sorry you are having such a tough time. I wouldn't last on anything a didn't enjoy either. I have never heard or tried have the Protein drink guys name. Tried a few and tried unjury vanilla. It's good but you get bored. I started adding Int'l delight coffee creamer flavors and other things tats my base. They come sugar free, fat free. etc I get the regular. I didn't get fat on that. and add a 1/4 cup to my shake. I'm 2 Years in and thrilled. Lost 80 lbs. and that's it. Far as I want to go. I am older and do not want the skin falling off my face and neck. Some before and afters are a little to much. I wanted health, to feel and look good. And be able to move well. I have done that. I even had 2 let outs before the holidays and no weight gain. Starting to eat a little better. Also started juicing to round out nutrients. Feel Fab as a large love me my life my clothes. I was 30.     Acid reflux

    Thanks for comeback on this subject. I have cutback on an afternoon coffee and a nite- time wine OH SCHUCKS. And the problem has subsided. I also think it has a lot to do with empty stomach and It leaves room for acid to build. I have added a half a milk Protein in the afternoon and I think that is helping. Maybe I can add the wine back YEH in a week or so. It's a lot of trial and error. But very worth it. These years have been the happiest in my life even with all the ups and downs.     Tasting Room - Protein Drinks

    Katie Keane I've been using unjury.com Protein powder for 2 years. I use the vanilla and plain with different additives or juicing. Sometimes fat-free Inti'l Delight coffee flavors. 2 Tsp. Tastes like a milkshake. Been very satisfied with being able to MIX THINGS UP a bit.

    Katie Keane NY I am a 2 year vet and 70 years old (very young and attractive one Ha!.) I started out using on line support in the beginning but didn't use it a lot. My LOSS! Have lost 65 lbs. 1. Goal was HEALTH very necessary. 2. Goal was 3x to XL to shop at Chico's. No Further or that bit of attractive would be gone. The eating process has been a real hassle. A lot of upheaving for 2 years.. Had never done a let out till past fall. No problems with weight. Did another, no problem. One of the reasons for adjustments was lack of nutrient consuming. I was bad in this area. I use the unjury Protein Powders. The best tasting for all sorts of ways to get in protein. But veg and fruit I was lacking. I am having a problem with hair loss and now bad acid reflux. Have started doing some juicing for the veg problem. Would love input from all on these subjects. Thanks guys.
