Im glad to hear that you are doing so well......I have a little concern with how I'm going to feel afterwards and hope I will be as lucky as you with a small amount of trouble. I know you have to have a some pain, but being concern is natural......but I can not wait to have my tool!

I'm so excited.....Was walking in the mall; looking for some earrings and the phone rang in my purse.....before i could answer it the phone stop ringing. I recognize the number and was so nervous i press callback. Well, when i put the phone up to my ear it vibrated and scared me and i almost dropped it...so i decided to listen to the message and the insurance rep at the surgery center said i was APPROVED and CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I nearly junped out my shoes and screamed out loud in the middle of the mall......people were looking all me all kind of crazy.....i didnt care because the excitement i feel now is a long time coming! I have had so many problems with evaluations not making it to my surgeon, delays, you name it....... But by the grace of God it finally came. I do mean grace......the insurance rep quoted " its odd but the insurance company gave approval over the phone before receiving fax copy" So here I come ladies and gents

Thanks girlies...I contacted my surgeon today and come to find out my psych evaluation never made it to the surgeon.....was disappointed !!!!! So of course i immediately contacted the therapist. The receptionist said it was just sitting in a box awaiting a signature from therapist.........anywho i expressed the need for it to be signed faxed and it was supposely faxed today.So, Im praying that it was a it was submitted......

Its has been one whole week since all my info was submitted.....i really wish my surgeons ofc would call me in the morning with the great news of a surgery date for this month......that would be great. Ive gotten on the wagon of commitment.....im so ready......graduated Friday....one goal down.....i need this one to be next:::===)))reADY, READY!!!!! COME ON INSURANCE APPROVAL

I feel like Im a bandzilla as well. I have did all the things to get approve and now Im in limbo awaiting for insurance to approve. So i have been talking my friends and moms ear off about how anxious I am to get banded. I come on this site just about everyday......so you are not alone. I can not wait to get approve and get a date

Today i completed the last step for approval to take place.......now i guess this is the waiting game. I really hope my insurance company will be speedy with their response. I've seen on here that insurance can respond as soon as the same day and some as slow as 30days. Lord knows I hope they give me an approval on Monday. I'm so excited. I really want to get a day and get started

I really know how you feel with the emotions......Im super excited as well.....tomorrow I will do my pysch eval then await for approval. Hopefully the approval process will be speedy. When is your surgery date?

Well maded thru the storms in Alabama by the grace of God......now back on my journey to become a "bandster". Tomorrow I will be seeing the Nutritionist for the first time from there the psych eval......then the only thing i have left to do is get my weight documentations from previous Drs. I'm so excited because the insurance rep at my surgeon's ofc said that I could be approved very fast once all documents submitted.....I'm past ready for this......graduation is in 10 days......really want to look a slight bit different before my birthday in August.

Tomorrow is my consultation with my surgeon......I have lot's of question to ask him. I'm eager to know if I will be approved for the surgery. My BMI is 43.2 and I recently was dx with a insulin resistance disorder,so i dont see why not. A 1/3 of my questions are about band problems. I have read/research alot on this procedure before deciding to take this journey. I'm just ready to do it now. Hope it does not take long to get approve. Fingers are cross hopefully will make progress to a surgery date

I'm just starting my band journey. I have already had my intial consultation.......just alot of question from a nurse. We scheduled my intial consultation with the Surgeon and she gave me lots of literature. I was reading about documents needed for surgical consideration..........My questions is did any of you take this info to the surgeon on the intial consultation with him/her?
