  1. Have to say that I haven't given it much thought, but then again I am only a little over two weeks post op.
  2. I don't know where you are in your journey but I just got rid of my cpap after I lost about 50 lbs. I had been using it for nearly 12 years. (loved it) It was a bit unnerving at first to lose such an old firend but after a couple of nights I was in the groove. My wife is thrilled because I no longer snore. Just check with your PMD and monitor yourself.
  3. I'm not sure why anyone would care how I take a leak. I for one use what works best for the clothing I have opted to where. Ihave some BPH problems which mean it is not uncommon to dribble a bit and need to use a tissue rather than just a shake and the fly gets in the way of doing this discretely. I guess all I can say is please don't make a point of watching me pee.
  4. Well, I am here. I had my sleeve done the 24th and am feeling great today. Surgery was harder on me in many ways than I thought it would be. I tell everyone that I've been working on this for years. 30 years ago I was30 years old, 5'11" and 335 pounds then down to 180 and back up-down-up-down until last year when I decided this is stupid, got some help with depression and decided to change my life. At this point I was 5'10" and 255 pounds. I applied through Kaiser Permanante for thier Options Porgram. Immediately started to follow their program while I waited to be admitted to the program. This past fall I got in and took the 12 wk program 237 pounds. I had surgery the 24th 210 and todays follow up I am at 200.4 pounds. I feel greats. Everyday I took about 15 different medications (20 pills a day) be fore vitamins etc. My blood sugar is still a little high on a random but my Primary said we'll wait and see for a while as I may no longer need my meds for that. My BP is good-first time in years. I am down to 3 pills aday. As I said to start, I'm here! I don't really mean to go on but this is a great day!
  5. >To us guys, our "endowment" is intimately tied to our self-esteem. Now, on that front, I'm doing okay genetically speaking, but, well, I'm fat. Obese. The result of that is that I have a big gut hiding... things from me, and a fat pad above the pubic area that also makes stuff look >smaller than it really is. >I know, I know, it's silly and shallow, but then again -- isn't all concern over our appearance silly and shallow? I'm not counting on a dramatic change in this area, but it would be nice to have that uh... little REMINDER that "hey, I'm a man after all!" Yes, yes, shallow and silly. So what? I can tell you you'll end up with no more than you started with. the difference is that you'll notice it all rather than just what outside the fat pads. I sure your girl with too.
  6. I am actually enjoying many of the same things as everyone else. I guess the most apparent to me was that I have a head and neck and chest and stomach and hips and "my friend" and legs etc.. It has always been my head and belly.
