  1. Unfortunately loutenia, I have no clue how to send a "noted" back so I'll have to answer this way.
  2. I was banded in April of 2011 at 70 years old I am now 71 and have lost 70 pounds to date. I am 6 foot tall and started at 300 pounds. It was the best decesion I have ever made in my life! I was diabetic, had high blood pressure, sleep apnea, and couldn't walk more than a block before needing to rest. All the preceding have been eliminated and I truely feel at least 10 years younger. It was an uneventful recovery and I will probably make my goal weight (decided by my Dr. and I) by my one year anniversary. Medicare took care of my surgery and the only drawback was they required me to stay in the hospital for 24 hours following surgery despite my surgeon releasing me the same day as my surgery. A small price to pay for the benefits I received. Good luck and let me know how things go. Crumer
