I know it is very important to work with your own Doctor!! I do agreee, however that you have to do what works well for you! I walk about 30 to 45 minutes a day and eat what sounds and feels good! I do try to always eat my protein 1st, however! I would listen to your own body and do your best! We all are walking this walk just a bit differently!!
I took two weeks and I am glad I did! I was still trying to figure out what to drink and when and how much and it was good to get that down prior to working! I also work 45 minutes away and put in 10 hour days so I was glad to have those two weeks!!
Oh, my gosh...thank you so much for posting this! I am 9 days out and have found the same thing!! I can drink 8 oz with little trouble and a cup of thin soup pretty easily! I was starting to worry that my bougie was way too big! My Dr will only do a 36 which he over sews! I am hoping that I will have good restriction when I can begin to eat! This thread gives me hope!! I am on full liquids for 4 weeks post op! It is an interesting ride! Best wishes to all of you!!
My Surgeon requires 2 full weeks of strict liquid diet prior to the Sleeve Surgery Date. I understand that a prep is needed, but two weeks?? Just wondered if any of you had that same requirement or if it was different??
