Hi- my name is Robin, I had the sleeve done 2 wks ago with Dr Schramm in Ypsi. Feel pretty good, still having difficulty with protein in general. Gas X does help with the gas issues. Sip Sip Sip is the best advise good luck, i have my 2 wk appt on Apri 26 robin -

i am 6 days out from surgery, dispise the Protein powders, but still trying feeling more OK each day but totally excited to include pureed never thought i'd say that in my life time anyone else ps we are not taking an easy way out this is already one of the most difficult challenges i've taken on signing off, maybe i can sleep soon robin aka ireland

surgery was tues April 12 have good and bad days. i'm sure like everyone else. I have not done well with the liquids and Protein drinks, still have some pain, but mostly discomfort from the gases i agree call the dr in the am, low grade fevers usually mean you are trying to fight something keep us posted, we'll be thinking of you good luck robin

not able to handle full liquid, Protein and feeling like crap still when did everyone feel normal of at least better???? did not think it would be like this, (had 2 c-sec, lap gallbladder and hysterectomy) thought i knew what i was in for. yeah not really!!!! thanx

I can totally relate, I am also 4 days out. did expect to feel different now, still very uncomfortable I walk alot, sleep and take showers (for some reason I feel this helps) keep me posted, I just keep thinking it will get better!!!! robin aka ireland

I have a similar situation, but I do have hypertension and crohns disease. Wasn't sure if I would qualify, surgery scheduled for April 12. I did not qualify for lap band or RNY. I don;'t believe this is drastic, when you have tried everything before desciding on this, good luck robin -
