  1. Thanks everyone! Can we have sugar free pudding as well?
  2. Thank u for ur reply!!!!! What kind of soup are u pureeing? Thank u!!
  3. Hi, I'm 5 days post op and my surgeon said I could have anything that would fit thru a straw. He said if I blended up steak and it can fit through a straw to go for it ( not using straws tho!) So my mom made me some chicken soup with some veggies, blended it up for me and is a thick but liquidy consistency. Is that ok? Can u give me sum ideas? Is jello ok? How about yogurt? Thanks for ur help!
  4. Hi all! I was finally sleeved last thursday. Woke up in recovery with a thumbs up from the nurses. I also saw my surgeons and they said everything was good. I have not had any pain, nausea. I've had very mild "gas" pains in my stomach that feel like little waves of contractions. But nothing painful. I'm home after spending 2 nights in the hospital. Amazingly my blood pressure has been normal so I've been able to cut down on my hypertension pills already. Definately bring a small pillow from home to support ur stomach if u are a side sleeper. Helps a lot! Thanks for all the prayers n supportive messages! I did get them in the hospital, my phone was just acting funny n I couldn't reply. But thank u to everyone. I'm kinda struggling with what I can eat. Was told anything that could fit through a straw. So I'm having lots of soups, which is not my fav in the first place. Any suggestions would be great !! Thanks friends! U all are so great! And we are lucky to have each others support!!! God bless!!
