Advice -Not losing
It is just very frustrating to go from actively losing to it standing still. I appreciate all the support from people here and will keep moving one day at a time

Advice -Not losing
I was banded about 4 weeks ago. I was doing great the first two weeks. Lost about 15 pounds. Then I guess the swelling went down an di can't really tell I have the band. I can eat what I want but still limit to about 1400 calories. High protien low carb. I have gained and lost the same 3 pounds for the last two weeks. What is going on? Suggestions to move forward again. I don't have an appointment for a couple of weeks still and I never feel full. I eat small portions out of self control but am hungry alot. Thoughts???

Chest hurts..
Based on all of the comments and advice I think mine is swelling. It is better today for sure. I think I was / am anxious to move forward and am expecting too much too soon. It does get better each day. I am down nearly 10 lbs since surgery which I know is water weight and empty bowels but it is a start of a new life

Chest hurts..
I had my surgery on the 13th and have the same problem. Even drinking small amounts of water cause the feeling and it is almost like I can feel the liquids move from the pouch to my stomach with a feeling of bubbles coming up my throat. I do have some fill at surgery not sure how much. Will this get better as the healing / swelling goes down?

Greetings - first post
So I am converting from a "Lurker" to a "Chatter". I have been reading the forums here for over 6 months, as I went through my supervised diet and all the BS the insurance requires before they approve. I am waiting for final approval, and have a surgery date of 4/20/11 at this time. Thought I would drop in and say HI.
