Not feeling any "different" after having surgery ??
You're not abnormal. I'm 3 months out and only had 1 small fill so far ... I don't feel any different either. I still wonder if they remembered to put a band in there - lol. I didn’t have a lot of pain or gas. I feel very blessed to have had such an easy recovery. I've been working really hard and seen rapid weight loss, despite my lack of restriction. You’re doing great. It’s a little out of the ordinary to have NO post-op diet instructions. Please take it slow.

Fill #1 and 2
For me, I hope there's at least a difference - doesn't have to be a big one - lol. Fill # 2 is on 12/17 and I'm praying for at least a little restriction before Christmas so I don't eat like I did on Thanksgiving :phanvan

Sort of blew it yesterday
I did kinda bad yesterday too - you aren't alone. I even had a piece of pumpkin pie. (Wish I'd looked up the calories on that BEFORE I ate it :faint:) Luckily the scale didn't show it - stayed the same as yesterday. I think the only thing that saved me was that besides dinner, the only thing I had eaten that day was 2 deviled eggs. And then right after dinner we took the dog for a long walk. Oh well - back on the wagon today. I'm going for my 2nd fill on 12/17 - I hope and pray that it at least gives me a little restriction before Christmas!!

Have you been shopping for new clothes?
Wow - my self image is really screwed up right now. Around 40 lbs is the most I’ve ever lost at one time and I’m well past that now. It feels good!! I work from home so I have been able to put off buying new clothes. I finally broke down today and bought 3 pairs of pants and a few tops. I had to go back to the rack twice for smaller sizes in the pants. Looking at the 20's I was trying on, I was thinking "there's no way these are going to fit"! I was having a REALLY hard time seeing my weight loss and then last 10lbs has been a really shocking change (to me). What have you guys been doing about clothes?

Has anyone ever heard of needing donated blood for the surgery?
As others have said, it would be REALLY out of the ordinary for you to need a transfusion. To put your mind at ease, you could always donate blood to be used if you did need a transfusion for some reason. Talk to your doc.

can you eat peanut butter?
PB2 is a powdered Peanut Butter. You can mix it into things - I mix it in my oatmeal a lot. You can also mix it with Water and use it as a spread like regular PB. My boyfriend says it's not as sweet as regular PB but I think it tastes the same. On the website, click the nutrition tab. It has a 1/4 of the fat and calories of regular PB.

I have a full band yet can eat anything!!
I was also going to say possibly a stretched pouch? (or a slip - could be the cause of the reflux?) Your doctor should be able to tell under floro. How much confidence do you have in your new doctor? Recommending you take bigger bites and chew less concerns me a little. How experienced is he with the Band? I hope things get better for you.

What to look for in a treadmill?
I'm looking at buying a moderately priced ($200-300) used treadmill. I've been checking ebay and craigslist but it occured to me that I really don't know what I'm looking at. Any brands and/or features to look for or avoid? Thanks

Unjury
I tried a few different Protein powders and unjury was by far my favorite. I didn't like the vanilla but the chocolate and unflavored are great. You can order samples on their site. I blend mine with a few strawberries or a little banana.

Wow - glad to hear it wasn't too serious. Please take care of yourself.

Vaniqa
I think I can already tell a difference after my first treatment. I'm paying the same - $150 per session. (neck, chin & upper lip) I took the RX for the numbing cream. It was only a $10 co-pay.

An email in my personal email...from this board?
I think that's correct. If you reply to the email then they will obviously have your email address.

A decided, I will do it, However no Insurance
I was going to suggest Dr. Kirshenbaum as well. I finally got all my insurance stuff settled but I was researching self pay options for awhile and he was #1 on my list.

How much lost in 3 months???
I'm almost at 3 months and have lost 55lbs. 14lbs of that was on the 2 week pre-op liquid diet. I can eat anything since I’ve only had one fill and not had any restriction yet. I try and stay away from carbs and sugar. I usually consume about 900 calories and 75 grams of Protein per day. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Exercise is an area I need to work on. I walk 2 miles a day with my dog 4-5 days per week. Now that the weather has gotten cold, I've lost my motivation. I need to join a gym but haven't gotten the courage to do so yet. I went to Curves the other day but the membership fee plus $45.00 a month seems a bit high to me. <O:p
