  4. Congratulations!!!!
  5. I was banded in 2011, I have had a good response with my band. What you have to remember that it is a tool for your weight loss and not a magic bullet. If you follow the doctor's advice and the nutritionist guidelines you will be successful. It is a lifestyle change and you will be eating differently from now on, but if your are committed to losing the weight it will work for you. I have lost 76lbs since the day of surgery and 83lbs since starting the whole process. Two of my friends have been less successful because they didn't change anything after surgery, so your mindset has to be the first thing to change before you begin the journey if you do that, you have conquered the first hurdle. Good luck!!
  6. I haven't checked in for a while and your story was very inspirational. I was banded March 22, 2011, I weighed 233 on my surgery day and I now weigh 161. I love my band and I am so glad to know that it's possible to maintain this lifestyle. If you are still doing it 6 yrs out I know I can. You are very inspiring!!!
  7. Im so glad I finally typed in diarrhea, I was banded on 3/28 and have been scared to get to far from a bathroom since nice to know there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
