  1. Yep, logging everything. The 1/4 to 1/2 "dressed" Radastas Only NOLA Poboy and couple bites gumbo and cupcake!!! . Was surprised to see I was still only around 1385. Not bad.
  2. Why shouldn't we take advantage of LIFE and HEALTH?? You go, Girl! I was 56 and don't regret a minute!
  3. . Glad it was just a cast and not surgery!
  4. Held today at weight in 158. ????And. ;(. Have a good day, All!
  5. Day done. Weird day. 398 calories!!! Thinking I would eat another snack but when I stopped and sat down it was 9:30 so no. We will see what happens with Weigh In Friday.
  6. Okay, Ive cleared the Halfway point! 150 calories under my belt. Now deciding what I will have for dinner tonight. Maybe my "go to". Lol. I'm very original. 2 extra lean turkey franks, 100 cal guacamole pack and cut up red pepper and cukes. And still have enough for my SF fudge bar or WW strawberry frozen yogurt bar. Okay, gotta stop. Made myself hungry.
  7. Lay your arm across the scale first and then subtract that from your total. might work
  8. I didn't either til I saw the little + sign on top by send button. Wha la! You can add pics from there!
  9. I took a pic this morning to update my FB profile and realized that I was dressed almost exactly like I was 3 years ago prior to VSG. So here's my TBT photo for all those struggling or making it or need some encouragement or just sharing in the love!! We are winners if we keep trying !
  10. Here's to Fast Day and encouragement. This is my"Throwback Thursday" pic for you guys
  11. Up and at 'em on my Fast Day! Feeling good. Hoping for reward on the scale tomorrow morning! Leaving for NOLA in the morning. Land of the Beignet. Heaven, help me!
  12. I've always been EXTREMELY jealous of those people who look "careless" elegant and then There's me who has to work to look average! Lol. Now, in my opinion, Feed would be one of the carelessly elegant types! And Coops is the pixie looking fresh faced girl And Laura looks like she is a kid at 47! And M2G has that thin lovely face in her profile which I am ALWAYS envious of since my round face always looks chubs. Oregon, I can't see your face. . And the other girlfriends on here who are at 135-140. Well, just know I am ENVIOUS!
  13. I agree. On the days I'm off I want to eat and eat ! Working helps keep me in check.
  14. Um, yeah!! But I will say this. My daughter, the runner, has squatted behind trees and pulled odd her undies and tossed them because she couldn't get back to civilization (ie BR) quick enough. So I guess I wish I was a runner?? . Nah!
  15. Jess86, reading your post and glad you are feeling better and past the surgery. I had forgotten some of the things you brought back like the heparin, vibrating leg things and nausea. I ALWAYS get nauseous after anesthesia and was lucky enough to get some good anti nausea med early on. I certainly didn't experience what you did but thanks for preparing others for what can happen. I experienced a similar but less severe episode like you but after first day did well with no complications. Never looked back! 3 years out and doing great!! Good luck!!!
  16. My favorite quote from somebody on here is "Nothing tastes as good as skinny!" At a little over 3 years out, it is def a challenge but we can and do overcome the temptations. Yes, I had to get back on track and relose some regain but I've done it and found it to be very rewarding that I CAN eat more but choose not to! You can do this!!!!!!
